WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God. We believe that in his death, burial and resurrection he is the one and only way to salvation and the Father. (John 3:16-17)
Salvation
We believe we were all born of a sin nature and shaped in iniquity. (Psalm 51:5)
Through Christ and his atonement at the Cross,
He redeemed us from the power of sin. Salvation is
free to all who are willing to accept Jesus and what he did.
Holy Spirit
We believe in the existence of the Holy Spirit. The third person of the Trinity or Godhead. We believe Holy Spirit not only points us to Christ but is man’s helper and comforter (John 14:16).
We also believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as manifested by the fruits and gifts of the Spirit.
Sacred Scripture
We believe the Bible to be the inspired Word of God and that it is the revelation of God’s will for mankind. It has absolute authority over mankind. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
The Church
We believe the church is the bride of Christ and the universal Body of Christ of all who have accepted Christ. We believe in the need for the local assembly of believers to gather, grow and go in Christ and his mission. (Hebrews 10:25)
Prayer & Praise
We believe worshiping of the Lord through singing, lifted hearts and hands. We believe that God inhabits and desires the worship, adoration and praise of his people.
Water Baptism
We believe Baptism to be by the immersion of water in obedience of God’s Word. Jesus himself was baptized and he instructs us to be as well. Baptism is an outward expression of his death, burial and resurrection. (Acts 2:38; Matthew 28:19; John 3:5)
Healing
We believing healing not only to be a gift of the Holy Spirit but also a practice to where if there are any sick among us, we are to call for the Elders of the Church; pray the prayer of faith and the prayer of faith will heal the sick. (James 5:14-16)
Stewardship
We believe everyone is the steward of their own life and resources in which all ultimately belong to God; he is our Provider. We believe in the giving of those resources. Christ gave to us and we believe tithing as a Biblical measurement of obedience and scriptural principle. (Malachi 3:10-11)
Evangelism & Missions
We believe the Lord commands us to go out into the world and share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus. Building one another in the most holy faith in training and discipleship. (Mark 16:15)
You
We believe in you and so does He! (Jeremiah 29:11)
